“US Role” Presentation: Reviewed

On February 19, 2009, Michael Kraig of The Stanley Foundation delivered a presentation entitled “The U.S. Role in a Changing Global Order” at the College at Florham Library. Mr. Kraig’s presentation was sponsored by FDU’s Global Enterprise Network.

Dr. Bazán-Figueras of FDU’s Literature, Language, Writing and Philosophy department wrote a review of the presentation. Read the text of the review.

The Global Enterprise Network of the FDU Library along with the New Jersey District Export Council and the United States Newark Export Assistance Center, is sponsoring a two-day AES seminar and workshop.

Topics include AES compliance and AES PcLink training.

The sessions are on February 18th and 19th in Hennessy Hall and are open to those involved in the export process. There is a fee to register for these sessions.

The US Role in a Changing Global Order
In order for the United States to meet today’s pressing global challenges, it will require leadership through broad engagement with a large number of nations, international organizations, and nonstate actors. Going it alone is simply not an option, especially in a highly interconnected world of complex problems and new players on the global scene like Brazil, China, India, Turkey, and others. There are no easy answers, but progress can be made in this diverse, highly dynamic world through effective cooperation.
