The FDU Library has been named a recipient of the FRONTLINE/World Social Entrepreneurs Series grant to support a film screening and discussion on social entrepreneurship.

As a result of the grant, FDU Library will offer the following programs:

On Tuesday, Oct. 7th from 4-5:30PM in the Orangérie of the College at Florham library, we will hold a screening of three of the films from the Frontline/World Social Entrepreneurs Film Program:

“Uganda: A Little Goes a Long Way”
“India: Design Like You Give a Damn”
“Mozambique: Guitar Hero”

Prof. Gerard Farias will lead a brief discussion following the showings.

On Tuesday, October 14th from 4-5:30PM in the Orangérie of the College at Florham library, we will hold a panel discussion on social entrepreneurship with representatives from ISE, the Green Club, and FDU’s CORE program.

Similar programs will be held on the Metropolitan campus in the library auditorium on November 5th and 19th, featuring discussion leaders from ISE, The Andy Cappon Community Action Project, and FDU’s CORE program.
